How to install the free plugin
- Go to Plugins → Add New in WordPress.
- Search for Tenvow Product Review & Rating.
- Install and activate.
Or download it from the WordPress.org plugin page and upload the zip.
After activation you will see:
- Settings → Tenvow Product Review
- A Tenvow Product Review box in the post editor sidebar
How to add a product review (step by step)
- Open any post (or create a new one).
- In the sidebar, find Tenvow Product Review.
- Tick Enable Product Review.
- Enter Product Name and Editor’s Rating (both required).
- Optionally fill Brand, Price, Currency, SKU, and Availability.
- Set a featured image if you want the product photo used in schema (and on the Pro card).
- Publish or update.
On the front end, visitors see a simple gold-style box with the score and a verdict such as Excellent, Very Good, Good, or Average.
Behind the scenes, the plugin prints Product + Review JSON-LD in the page head. If you added a price, it also adds Offer data (price, currency, availability).
Why the schema matters
Search engines and AI assistants use structured data to understand reviews. With this plugin you get:
- Product — name, image, description, brand, SKU
- Review — author, publisher, date, review text, rating (1–10)
- Offer — price and availability when you enter them
That helps with rich results and clearer product context. The plugin does not overwrite Organization or WebSite schema from Rank Math or similar tools, so you can run both safely.

Under Settings → Tenvow Product Review you can:
- Turn on Delete data on uninstall if you want a full cleanup when removing the plugin (off by default so your reviews stay in the database)

Rich review card
Shows product image, name, rating, verdict, brand, price, SKU, and availability in one neat block.
Three themes
Choose in Settings → Product Review Pro → Appearance:
- Default — warm gold (matches the free box style)
- Light — clean white with blue accents
- Dark — dark card for modern layouts
Buy Now button
Add a product or affiliate URL in the meta box. The card shows a Buy Now button that opens in a new tab. Affiliate links use rel="sponsored nofollow".
Same data as free
Pro uses the same fields and meta keys. If you already used the free version, your reviews continue to work after you activate Pro. No migration needed.

Pro includes a 3-day free trial. After the trial, without an active license the rich card is replaced by an Upgrade / Renew notice until you subscribe.

Practical tips
- Always fill Product Name and Rating — nothing shows without them.
- Use a real product photo as the featured image.
- Add price and currency when it makes sense so Offer schema is included.
- Write a short excerpt; it feeds the review body in schema.
- On Pro, set the Buy Now URL on every commercial review.
- Keep your usual SEO plugin for titles, sitemaps, and general schema; let Tenvow handle Product / Review / Offer only.
FAQ
Does it work on pages or custom post types?
Currently posts only.
What if I leave rating or product name blank?
The box and schema stay hidden until both are filled and the review is enabled.
Will uninstalling delete my reviews?
Only if you enable “Delete data on uninstall” in settings. By default, data is kept.
Does it conflict with Rank Math or Yoast?
No. It only adds Product / Review / Offer markup.
Do free reviews survive a Pro upgrade?
Yes. Same meta keys, no data loss.
Can I use affiliate links?
Yes, in Pro. Paste the affiliate URL in the Buy Now field.
