Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain its momentum at the box office. As the film enters its 15th day in theatres, the latest early estimates suggest another drop in its daily collection.
According to live box-office tracking, Toxic has earned around ₹0.59 crore nett in India on Day 15 so far. The figure is still subject to change as more shows are reported. With this, the film’s India nett collection has reached approximately ₹250.62 crore after 15 days.
The slowdown has become more noticeable during the second week. After a strong opening, the film’s daily earnings have gradually slipped into the lower range, with Wednesday’s early numbers showing another decline compared with Day 14.
The film had opened with a huge response, but sustaining that momentum has proved difficult. Reports have also pointed to mixed audience reactions and increasing competition at the box office as factors behind the slowdown.
Interestingly, different box-office trackers are currently reporting slightly different figures. Sacnilk’s latest update, for example, had Toxic at ₹247.19 crore India nett and ₹338.32 crore worldwide before Day 15 figures were available.
So, while the exact Day 15 closing number is still awaited, one thing is clear: Toxic is still adding to its total, but the pace has slowed considerably compared with its first week. For Yash fans, the coming days will now be important.
The big question is whether the film can pick up again over the weekend or whether its theatrical run will continue to wind down.
